This weekend on the East Coast, Hurricane Irene is coming to visit. In preparation, I want to make what I’ve dubbed “HURRICOOKIES” (must be caps).
Now, you may be asking yourself – what is a HURRICOOKIE?

Good question, my friends.
What is in a HURRICOOKIE? Help me out!
I’ve so far come up with the idea of chocolate chunks and oats (representing debris) and maybe some caramel? It should probably be a chocolate based cookie anyway. I want these to be chewy and warm, to save us from the winds and rain.
In an ideal world, nuts would go in this cookie – but the boy does not like nuts, so that’s out.
What would you put in your ideal HURRICOOKIE? Leave me a message!
And if you are on the East Coast – Godspeed to you during Irene.
