So this recipe is probably the chocolatiest, fudgeyist, most well balanced brownie recipe I’ve ever made. Truth. Also, the first homemade brownie recipe I’ve made.. I’ve used mostly mixes up to this point.
I altered the original recipe found at Bluebonnets & BROWNIES to my liking… and my supplies.
Nutella Walnut Brownies
- 2 c. flour
- 1 c. cocoa powder
- 1 ½ tsp. baking powder
- 1 ½ tsp. salt
- 1 c. butter (2 sticks)
- 1 ¾ c. sugar
- 4 eggs
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- ½ jar Nutella
- sprinkled walnuts to your liking
Preheat that sucker for 350 deg fahrenheit, mix the flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt together in one bowl, set aside.
Then mix the butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla in another bowl.
Once the butter mixture is well mixed, gradually add the flour mixture. (this batter is THICK. Expect it. Love it.)
Pour batter into greased/flour dusted pan. Spread Nutella over the top and sprinkle the walnuts on at the end.
Pop it in the oven for 30 min (or longer if you want your brownies to be a little less fudgey, though I thought 30 was perfect.)
The end! Hope you like them as much as we do. Ciao!
